    Vitamin C significantly supports the body's defense against infections, helps with wound healing, and maintains the flexibility of blood vessel walls. It is necessary in the collagen formation process and is involved in the construction of bones, teeth, and cartilage. Its deficiency causes exhaustion, swollen and bleeding gums, tooth loss, hair loss, dry skin, joint pain, as well as bruising and cracking of small subcutaneous vessels, slowing down the metabolism and iron absorption.
